Nothing makes me happier than a visit to Kew Gardens, arguably my favourite place in London. I easily pass the time admiring the botanical gardens and diverse range of plants. I try and visit every Spring, in hopes of seeing the blossom trees in bloom. My new favourite spot is the Waterlily House (pictured above) which I discovered on my last visit - the giant lilypads look magical. Even browsing the gift shop is a joy, I love looking at the beautifully illustrated postcards and intriguing selection of books.

Similar to looking up at the night sky, spending time in a luscious garden makes me aware of nature’s elegance. Without even trying I feel more relaxed and at peace, I can’t help but slow down.
