Eastbourne Solo

Sometimes my wanderlust gets to me and I crave some solitude wandering around an unexplored area. So, I hopped on the train and in an hour or so I reached Eastbourne train station. Eastbourne isn’t necessarily new to me, but sometimes it’s enjoyable to explore a familiar place with curious eyes.

My first stop was the harbour. I toured around and noted some of the boat names: Misty Morning, Tipsy Tart, Serenity, Ankle Biter, Scooby Doo and more. When I reached the lock, people were gathered around watching the different-shaped boats gently rock into the bay.

Other Observations:

  • Young boy fishes with his father by the shore

  • Super fluffy white Alaskan Malamute

  • Strange, large black birds with white beaks by the harbour

  • Alpacas grazing in a field

I spent a peaceful day there wandering around, browsing the shops, reading and taking photos, some of which I will share here.

Book I read then: Lonely Castle in the Mirror by Mizuki Tsujimura

Currently reading: V for Vendetta by Alan Moore and David Lloyd
